Our Agriculture Division cultivates business- and process-use cabbage in large open fields under unique weather of this area. And in greenhouses, we cultivate local tomato, melon and other agricultural products. To meet the increasing demands in and outside Japan, we are approaching to expand our production volume in future.
Our vegetables are rather large as they are used mainly in food processing and food service industries. Sometimes depends on variety and season, we ship to greengrocers too.
Tomatoes and melons cultivated in greenhouse are mainly shipped to retailers. When size and standards are unsuitable for retailers go for business-use as well.
Although using same seed, agricultural products will not grow same due to characteristics of climate and difference in soil in each region.
We try to find out suitable variety and cropping time for our fields, and study on cultivation technology to bring their talents out as much as possible.
It is continuously one trial and error after another to achieve high productiveness.
We sell most of our cultivated agricultural products directly to our customers.
Based on customers’ needs, we calculate backwards from shipping date for operations, such as harvesting time from shipping date, planting time from harvesting time, seedtime from planting time.
Best variety will be selected depend on each harvesting time.
We respect soil making to cultivate delicious vegetables and fruits. Our products are neither pesticide-free nor organic vegetables.
We analysis and evaluate each field’s soil and referring to previous year’s cropping situation, prepare soil for this year. Not only depends on agricultural chemicals, but we use natural soil improvers, green manure for soil fertility, not cultivate for one year to let them rest or try other operations.
Those operations are done for better production.
